[h=4]SCX-4521F Paper Jam In The Tray (Jam 0)[/h]Note: The most common cause of paper jams is the paper; please check your user manual to make sure the media you are using is recommended for your printer. Also make sure the printer and driver settings match the paper type.
When your printer displays Jam 0, paper has failed to pass through the first sensor.
To remove the jammed paper, follow these steps:

Press the tray open button.

Pull the tray open

Remove the jammed paper by gently pulling it straight out.

Slide the tray back into the printer.

Press the top cover leaver and open the top cover.

Note: Be careful to not pinch your fiingers while closing the top cover.
While holding the top cover, carefully close the cover until securely latched.

If the paper jam LED still blinks, go to the next step.
Open the rear cover.

Gently pull the jammed paper out of the printer.

Press the rear cover firmly back into place until it clicks.
If your printer still displays error after you turn on the printer, unplug the printer, and then repeat the steps above. Make sure all paper has been removed and all the cover doors are fully closed before turning your printer back on.
